Admissions For Professionals

We Can Help get Your Life Back On Track

At Sprout Health California Detox, we know from experience that addiction does not discriminate in the least. People from every walk of life imaginable are affected by it. Professionals, however, sometimes are pressured not to seek treatment, especially if they think that rehab will damage their careers in some fashion. As such we have compiled a list of reasons why addicted professionals may not see help:

  • The person is not ready to quit using. The desire to quit has to be an inner motivation. This may represent 39% of addicted professionals.
  • Concerns their job or career will be negatively impacted.
  • Uncertain where to go for treatment. Some professionals are unsure what the fallout will be if neighbors or coworkers find out they attended rehab.
  • Lack of proper health coverage.
  • No transportation available. Not every professional needs a personal vehicle. For some with vehicles, they may still feel the treatment center is located too far away.
  • There are those who felt they didn’t need treatment for their addiction.
  • Some people actually said that they did not have the time.
  • Some people believe that treatment would not help.

People will often make excuses and validate those excuses for not seeking help. We know that it takes courage to admit there is a problem, and then make the commitment to check into rehab. For those that do, the decision is the right one. There are other reasons why professionals may not seek treatment right away, including fear, denial, fear of loss of control, and the complicated matter of not being able to give up their high.

Our Intake Specialists

We have professional intake specialists who are happy to answer any questions. They will ask questions to help determine if your insurance can help you pay for your treatment. They will also ask questions about your drug or alcohol use.

We are also happy to schedule a tour of our facility. We want clients to know firsthand the type of treatment they will receive and the expected outcomes. Once you are received for treatment, our facility will conduct a thorough physical and psychological evaluation to learn more about your condition. This allows us to start detox where we can put together a treatment plan that addresses any co-occurring illnesses as well.

Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient treatment is an option where patients can expect 24/7 care. There is absolutely no access to drugs or alcohol, and patients can concentrate on their detox program. Patients may also have access to specialized services that include yoga classes, acupuncture, religious services, and even personalized meals. The longer they stay in rehab, the better their chances of not going into relapse in the future.

Outpatient Treatment

Patients attend treatment at their center and are allowed to stay in their homes. They must check in with their addiction specialist on a daily basis who can monitor their progress. Patients must take special care to follow their doctor’s orders to the letter. Both treatments, inpatient and outpatient, offer effective treatment plans. The only difference is that inpatient treatment is somewhat more intense because of the patient’s severity of addiction. The length of treatment for either inpatient or outpatient treatment depends on the drug, level of addiction, and how well a person progresses in their program.

Addiction Consequences

There are no good consequences if an addiction is not addressed with professional help sooner—rather than later. Families are torn apart, jobs and careers are placed on hold, and relationships drift apart over addictive behaviors and actions.

Detox and rehab treatments can bring it all back together for families and their loved ones. It requires admitting there is a problem, and then seeking help for it in a professionally controlled clinical setting. At Sprout Health California Detox, we have the programs and therapies you or a loved one needs to get back on the road to recovery.

We also work with patients to help them regain a sense of true purpose in life. Where there is purpose, there is focus. Purpose can help our clients to avoid relapse, and they can readily utilize, over a lifetime, what they learn in rehab. When combined with other helpful programs like AA, or NA, clients have the tools and support networks available that will inspire and aid them in living a lifetime of sobriety.
