About Us! What is Detox?

It’s never to late, Break the Addiction..

Our Treatment Program

Detox Is The First Step To Your Drug Free Life

If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction, detox treatment is the only viable choice for getting well in a controlled and supportive environment. At Sprout Health California Detox, we know how devastating an addiction can be, and the harm that it can cause families and individuals. Thus, detox has to be approached professionally. Otherwise, it can be deadly.

At Sprout Health California Detox, we conduct extremely thorough assessments to help us determine a patient’s state of health and mind. Upon admittance, we conduct physical and mental evaluations. We do this so that we can provide our patients with the best treatment options available. A thorough assessment also allows us to discover and treat any co-occurring conditions. Our goal is to give patients every possible chance for a full recovery and to avoid future relapse.

Inpatient Treatment

We often recommend residential (inpatient) treatments for those with a severe drug or alcohol addiction. Inpatient treatments are thorough and intense. Patients are monitored 24/7 and adjustments can be made with their medications depending on their progress. Once a patient goes through detox, rehab continues with one-on-one sessions with a psychiatrist or specialist, family therapy, and group therapy as we deem necessary.

Our goal is to expose our patients to as much material, support, and training necessary to help them identify and avoid those triggers that can lead to relapse. Our programs are effective. We staff only the very best psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and clinicians. Our patients can rest assured they will receive the best treatments available.

Outpatient Treatment

Depending on the patient’s progress or initial schedule, they can be placed in our outpatient treatment program. Outpatient treatment protocols are just as effective as inpatient procedures. The only thing is patients have a lot more flexibility over their own schedules. While patients are required to check in daily for treatment, they are allowed to return home after their session. Treatment programs can be scheduled around school time for adolescents, and we can adjust treatment schedules for adults with busy work and family schedules.

Outpatient programs work well for individuals that have a measure of control over their addiction. However, we do caution that there will be a multitude of temptations to abuse or use drugs or alcohol. Discipline is a must. Our patients will be able to utilize all their knowledge, training, and will power to sustain from using drugs or alcohol.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT is at the very core of all our treatment plans. We know that successful detox and a life free of drugs and alcohol depends on the individual’s mindset. CBT helps a patient examine their self-beliefs and their relationship with the world. It helps them to make the important connection between thought and behavior. We know that if a person can change their thinking, they can change numerous outcomes in life. Inaccurate thinking is part of the problem that led them down the road of addiction to begin with.

Detox and rehab are only pieces of an amazing puzzle to help our clients break the grips of addiction. We are always concerned that former patients keep in touch and on point with what they have learned while in our care. We always encourage our clients to join groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. These groups offer tremendous support for members. There are no membership fees. All that is required to join is a commitment to a life that is free of drugs or alcohol. Members fare best when they keep their appointments and engage in activities. Members can even advance to the point of sponsoring new members.

Keeping a True Purpose in Life

Our cognitive therapies also encourage individuals to find and engage in a true purpose in life. Studies have shown that people with a purpose tend to avoid addictions and substance abuse at a greater rate than those without a purpose. There is something wonderful about having a true cause that is beyond one’s own self. The positive energy can spill over into every aspect of a person’s life.

If you or a loved one is suffering from an addiction, do not hesitate to call us today. Our detox program can help clients beat their addiction and look forward to living a life that is free from alcohol and drug abuse.
