About Us! What is Detox?

It’s never to late, Break the Addiction..

Detox Steps to Recovery

Detox Is Not A Solution, Its The Only Solution

At Sprout Health California Detox, we think it is admirable that you have chosen to seek clinical treatment for your addiction. The first step to recovery will be detox. It is not easy by any means, but once you take the step it allows you to build momentum that can keep you going throughout the whole process. We will be there with you every step of the way. The body has to be cleansed of every ounce of harmful substance before recovery can be possible.

Full detox treatment is the solution—the only solution. It has to be accomplished in a safe and professional clinical environment because the process can be deadly without proper supervision. Once the poisons are expelled from your body, it can begin its healing process and you will be on the road to healing both psychologically and physically.

Successful Detox

Successful detox does not happen overnight. It took a while to become addicted and it will take time to become sober. It may days or it may take weeks to remove harmful toxins from your body. There are a number of symptoms that you may experience, and some will be painful. Symptoms may include seizures, delirium, headaches, anxieties, sweating, and more.

Once detox is completed, you will find that the remaining part of your program will go much smoother. Your body and mind will be able to adjust to treatments much easier, and you will be working with professionals who understand what you will experience.

Diagnosing Underlying Conditions

Upon admission, our staff with conduct a thorough assessment. It will include the diagnosis of any underlying physical or mental conditions that may have contributed to addiction. For full recovery, every condition must be treated to prevent relapse.

Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient treatment requires the patient to check into a facility for the duration of their treatment program. The length of time will depend on the severity of the patient’s addiction, the drug, and their general state of mental and physical health. The patient is closely monitored 24/7 and adjustments can be made to their treatment plan along the way if needed. After detox, the patient is introduced to cognitive therapies that may include individual, family, or group counseling.

Our goal is to help the patient make the connection between their thoughts and subsequent actions and behaviors. Such therapies are instrumental in helping patients to understand and avoid the triggers that can lead to detox. The longer a person remains in treatment, the better their chances of avoiding a future relapse.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatments provide the same quality of support and assistance. Patients attend rehab at their center but are allowed to return home at the end of each session. We can monitor their progress and take random test to make sure they remain on track. Except for weekdays and holidays, they are required to check in daily for medication and counseling. The treatment is basically the same for both inpatient and outpatient programs. Inpatient treatment, however, is more intensive. A patient receiving outpatient treatment has to diligently avoid the triggers that led to their addiction in the first place.

Family Therapy and Counseling

We think it is critical that family members, or friends, attend counseling at the approval of the addicted individual. Family members and friends can do a lot to help in the recovery process. They can also hinder the process without knowing it. Counseling provides everyone with a better understanding of addiction, its causes, and its cures. Better understand along with correct communication can help the addict toward sobriety.
We can also recommend alternative therapies that include yoga, medications, and even acupuncture. Our mission is to make sure our patients receive every treatment and counseling opportunity available that can help get them back on the road to recovery.
