About Us! What is Detox?

It’s never to late, Break the Addiction..

PHP Treatment Centers in CA

At Sprout Health California Detox, we can help patients detox through our partial hospitalization program.

Individuals suffering from addiction may be able to choose from a number of addiction treatment options. At Sprout Health California Detox, we can help patients detox through our partial hospitalization program. We take great care in thoroughly assessing a patient’s condition, both mental and physical, to offer treatments that will greatly reduce the chances of future relapse. We can also identify any co-occurring illnesses and treat them as well. Our mission is to give each patient the tools, medications, and resources to maintain a full life of sobriety. Our treatment specialists are certified and the very best at what they do.

PHP Hospitalization Program

Think of the program as an outpatient program that allows patients to get the needed treatment they need through a flexible format. The same level of care, as a residential or inpatient program can expect. It is comprehensively structured and allows patients to attend sessions that last up to six hours a day, five days a week. Patients have the option to return home and resume a normal lifestyle at the end of each session. It also permits patients to put what they have learned at the facility into practice.

In addition to medications, patients are privy to cognitive therapies that help them to make the connection with their thoughts and behavioral patterns. Inaccurate, negative thinking is what causes a person to challenge situations in the wrong manner. We can teach them to respond in a more positive way—and thus realize a different and better outcome.

Individual and Group Therapy

There is a great deal of value to be gained from individual and group therapy. Patients can work one on one with their psychologist or counselor to get to the mental root of their addiction. While detox can remove toxins from the body, it is not the full program. Our mission aims to also treat the patient’s mind through individual therapy sessions. Group therapy can work wonders. Patients can interact in a group, listen, speak, and learn. There certainly is strength in numbers. At Sprout Health California Detox, we also encourage families to become a part of the addiction treatment process. Families can offer a lot of support for patients looking to break free of drug addiction.

Our therapy sessions can also help family members determine if they have become co-dependent during their loved one’s bout with addiction.

Is the PHP Hospitalization Program Right for You?

At the time of your assessment, we can make the determination whether inpatient or outpatient will work best for you. Inpatient programs provide 24/7 care and patient monitoring. The initial stage of detox is difficult for many. Our clinicians monitor our patient’s conditions very closely and can adjust medications and treatments accordingly. Outpatient programs are less intense, but provide the same expected level of care. Patients have shown that they have a greater degree of control over their addiction. Since they are allowed to return home after each session, patients must be anchored in accountability.

There will be many triggers that can tempt the recovering individual to relapse. However, our programs are quite thorough, and we spend a great deal of time providing the tools and training to help patients identify and avoid triggers. As mentioned, our mission is to provide patients with the tools and skills to pursue long-term sobriety. We want them to be completely free of drugs and alcohol.

Finding Purpose

One of things we stress in our cognitive behavioral sessions is that patients make a solid attempt to find purpose in their life. It has been proven time and again that purpose can give an individual the edge in fighting addiction. It gives them something to do or care about that is larger than themselves. We encourage individuals to set goals that are attainable. We also help them to understand how important it is to spend quality time with loved ones and quality friends.

They should maintain relationships that allow them to talk about problems. The goal is to relieve stress before it becomes too overwhelming. Finding a hobby is a good thing in anyone’s life. It takes up a person’s time and allows them to pursue something they love. We want our patient to work on building their self-esteem. Self-esteem can help combat depression and feelings of loneliness.

If you or a loved one suffers from an addiction, we have the medications, practices, facilities, and programs to help our patients achieve a life that is free of drug or alcohol abuse.
